The Collector’s Forum, an exclusive network for collectors of rare books, distinctive art, antique objects and uncommon toys, held its 3rd annual meeting in Hong Kong this year. Known for its discretion, the forum allows members to discuss and share their collections in a private setting, fostering a specialized community around the study and appreciation of rare artifacts. Once annually, the forum opens to the public, offering a limited view into private collections usually withheld from exhibition. STChM, a member of the forum, participated in this year’s event, with the next gathering set to be hosted in Los Angeles.

This year’s Collector’s Forum in Hong Kong presented a range of unique and rare items, reflecting the eclectic and refined tastes of its members. STChM, contributing from their young yet growing collection, showcased a few distinctive pieces, including an 18th-century automaton believed to contain secret compartments, a rare volume of The Codex Seraphinianus, and a collection of Victorian-era optical illusion toys. With trading and exchanges between members already underway for months, STChM is eager to expand their collection further and engage with fellow collectors at next year’s LA25 Forum in Los Angeles, promising another year of rare acquisitions and exchanges
